ABOUT US
The Goodz Foundation was founded by young adults from Hampton Roads who wanted to create positive change through service and community engagement. Our mission is to build a supportive community and provide relief where it is needed most. We connect volunteers with opportunities to give back through our one-stop community blog and by hosting our own service events. Our work focuses especially on preparing students for success, including our annual back-to-school drive and our book scholarship program for Virginia high school seniors pursuing higher education. By combining resources, service, and outreach, we aim to strengthen communities and inspire the next generation to do the same.
The Goodz Foundation believes that empowering young people with access to education and community resources creates lasting impact beyond the classroom. Our programs are designed not only to meet immediate needs, but also to foster empathy, leadership, and responsibility among the next generation. Through initiatives like our book scholarship, we help students overcome financial barriers while encouraging them to give back through meaningful service. Each project we undertake reflects our commitment to equity, compassion, and opportunity. By addressing both academic and community needs, we create a cycle of support that uplifts individuals and strengthens neighborhoods. In this way, we strive to build a culture where service and education remain the foundation of positive change.
